Blue Knights LA III Home page

The BLUE KNIGHTS® is a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement men & women who enjoy riding motorcycles.

The Blue Knights® Louisiana III Chapter was formed in January 1996 by fourteen police officers from the Covington, Louisiana area. Since the early days of LA III, the chapter has grown to include members from all over St. Tammany Parish and Washington Parish. We have members who ride Harleys, Gold Wings, Hondas & CMCs. We don't discriminate. All makes & models are welcome.

Among the Blue Knight members, "There are no strangers, only friends you haven't met."

Briefly, to qualify for membership you must:

1. Be an active full or part time law enforcement officer with powers of arrest.
2. Be employed by a governmental agency and receive monetary compensation, or be a retired or disabled former law enforcement officer.
3. Possess a valid license to operate a motorcycle.
4. Own a motorcycle or plan to purchase one within six months.
